This battery lasts about 4 hours per charge in my 7-year-old laptop. Just read the instruction booklet that came with it and follow the directions on breaking the battery in and you should be good to go. I'd like more than 4 hours per charge, of course, but for the price, this battery will be fine.

charging the battery had a problem initially but the problem was resolved here it is. control panel, search bar, troubleshooting, system and security, improve power management, troubleshoot problems, next, and press administrator to correct the problem. it works afterwards.

Edit: seller has sent partial refund for missing screw drivers, which were supposed to be included. Battery was easy to change/fit, charged well and is working exactly as intended.Unlike some other reviews, and the images on the listing, I didn't receive any screw drivers with the battery, which was the whole reason I bought this one and not others, which are cheaper. Otherwise, battery fitted and works great.
