We can get some more time out of this laptop so I’m happy. It’s traumatizing having to get a new computer and I intend to delay it as long as possible. It took 5 minutes for me to replace the battery and I’m not a technically adept person

The instructions said to charge and discharge 4 times. I did that exactly. All the way up and all the way down. I am just a few months using this battery and today after a full charge I got a little less than 15 minutes and it shut it self down. I am very disappointed.

This battery fit right in. I say that installation was easy because what more could the battery maker do? The installation itself requires removing long rubber feet ridges from the bottom of the computer and unscrewing a lot of tiny screws. I think the battery came with a little screwdriver for that, in fact. So, I guess the battery maker did go the extra step to help.I can't really speak to longevity or charge capacity yet, but there were no surprises, and this computer is usually plugged in, anyway.

This battery lasts about 4 hours per charge in my 7-year-old laptop. Just read the instruction booklet that came with it and follow the directions on breaking the battery in and you should be good to go. I'd like more than 4 hours per charge, of course, but for the price, this battery will be fine.
