I was going to recycle my computer, thinking it could cost $100-$200+ to install a new battery. However, the battery was relatively cheap, and the installation wasn't bad. The computer manufacturer had a video that showed how to do it step by step. Now, my computer works on a battery charge for 3-4 hours while using the internet and streaming. Installed the new battery three days ago, pressed the power key to turn on the computer, nothing happened, then I read one of the reviews mentioned that holding down the power key a minute or so on the first time. It worked! My computer came on! So far everything works correctly including the power indicator on the side of computer when battery was charged to 100%. I hope this battery can keep my computer going few more years.
